After graduating I went to 2 years at McCook Community College and majored in Fine Art with a Drawing emphasis. I met my husband, Ahren, there and we moved to Kearney after graduating at McCook. I went to UNK for a year as a Drawing Major and didn't like the program there. Ahren and I were married in June of 2004, and moved to Denver, CO in 2005. We lived in Denver while I attended The Rocky Mountain College of Art and Design in Lakewood, CO. In 2006 I spent a semester living in County Clair, Ballyvaughan, Ireland studying at The Burren College of Art. I graduated from there and finished my degree at RMCAD in the fall of 2009. Our daughter, Roslynn, was born in Wheatridge, CO February 15th, 2008. We decided we didn't want to raise a family in Denver and moved back to Holdrege in 2010. I am currently the Store Manager at McDonalds in Holdrege while starting up my art business from home. Ahren works as the Primary Overnight Plasma Operator at Allmand Brothers. |
