Robert Reiner
After Holdrege High, a little more schoolin' in Hastings and Lincoln followed by a few years working in printing in Lincoln (on-again, off-again with some knocking around a little in Minn., Wisc. and Colo). Started a family in Lincoln. Followed the printing trade to Wisconsin, then Sioux City, then settled in Omaha. Divorced. Then followed the printing to Des Moines, then to the Twin Cities where I have re-settled. About me? I've been known to do a bit of gardening and a bit of cooking. I occasionally will play tennis and volleyball (used to?) or take a little infield or shoot a few hoops, etc. etc. Have formerly owned a few guitars and one set of vibes (there ya go, Verle) and with the collector/horder/clutterer gene, I do antiques and collectibles which includes LP's, sports memorabilia, stamp collecting & books. I juggled both printing and bookselling (out-of-print/used & rare) for a few years, then quit the last printing job after maybe 28 years in the trade. Now have a humble, messy bookshop in Minneapolis (website ReinerBooks.com). Both children live in Omaha, both graduated from Omaha Burke and one has a UNL degree. Significant other is an art teacher who goes to all the national meetings 'n lots more sorta stuff like that.
