Services for Jerry Lemmon, 33, who died Monday evening, August 3, 1981, in a motorcycle accident near Hill City, Kansas, will be conducted from Nelson-Harris Funeral Home Friday at 10:30 a.m. with the Rev. Donald Leff officiating. Interment will be at Prairie Home Cemetery.

The son of Lynn and Ella Lemmon of rural Holdrege, he was born in Gothenburg and attended R-7 and Holdrege Public Schools. He graduated from Central Nebraska Technical Community College in Hastings as an automotive technician. For the past several years, he had resided in WaKeeney, Kansas.

Mr. Lemmon was noted for his musical abilities and at the time of his death, was president of the Northwest Kansas Racing Association.

Besides his parents, survivors include his brother, Randy Lemmon, Lincoln; and his maternal grandmother, Mrs. Josie Sherman, Axtell.
