Bio

 I graduated from UNL in 1990 and then got my MD from UNMC in 1994. I completed a residency in Family Medicine at the University of Michigan at Ann Arbor in 1997, and then a fellowship in Sports Medicine at Ball State in 1999. I married my wonderful wife Amanda in 1999 and we have three great kids.
After a stint at the University of Illinois where I was one of the team physicians, we moved to Des Moines, where I opened up a private Sports Medicine practice in 2006. We've been in operation since then. I stay active with our national academy, as well as with various other boards, and our church. Right now, our lives mostly involve chasing after active kids. Life is good.
