Bio

 I started out going to Kearney State College and during my Sophomore year transferred to Trinity College in Deerfield, Ill. I recieved my degree in education and was fortunate enough to get a job teaching 1st grade in a nearby town. I was teaching in Zion, Ill. for nine years when I met my husband at a friend's wedding. The wedding was in Connecticut, so I ended up marrying Greg and moving to Connecticut. My husband is an artist and works at home. We have seen God work in our lives in many ways. I am thankful to Him for all I have in this life. At our wedding I shared the verse, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding, in all your way acknowledge Him and he shall direct your paths." Prov. 3:5-6 It has been a verse I have tried to live by and God has proven Himself faithful.I have enjoyed three wonderful daughters and a quiet life with my husband. After a few years home with the girls I taught three years in the public school in Monroe, Ct. and then transferred to the Christian School that my girls attended. It has been great to be able to be so close to them. I hope they think so, too. I think they do. My two oldest are in college in Texas and my youngest in in 9th grade at CHS. I have to admit I look back on the years I spent in Nebraska with fondness. It was a wonderful place to grow up. I miss the huge sky and wide open spaces. I miss the quiet and the wind. I even miss the cornfields. Nebraska is a great place.
