After HHS and the U, I entered the USAF and flew fighters for 20 years. When I retired from that, I was hired by AirTran Airways and flew some paying passengers around (none upside down despite the rumors). Currently am the Director Flight Operations Training.. fancy title meaning I hire, fire, train and keep current all 2000 pilots at AirTran. Fun job and get to go to some cool places. Looking forward to the reunion and meeting up with the '70 group. Plus it's always nice to get back to Holdrege to see the folks and relax. |
