After leaving HHS, Denise attended Doane College in Crete and then on to the Mayo Clinic for P.T. School. AFter completing school, Denise married Bruce Exstrom - also from '79 HHS and moved to Lincoln, NE. Children: Caleb (1985) now in Kearney as a chef and Jada (1987) a senior at Wesleyan and going on to P.T. school Fall of 2009. Denise is now remarried to Doug Larsen and they continue to live in Lincoln with some retirement time in St. George, Utah. Hobbies include: golf, snow skiing, scuba diving, sewing, cooking, and hopefully more travel. Life is Good, Enjoy! |
