After graduation I went into the lumber business first in Holdrege and then various yards in Nebraska gaining knowledge and skills in various locations finally ending up as the manager for Mead Lumber in Pratt, Kansas. Jane and I have three children: Tobin, NASA Flight Planner Engineer in Houston, TX; Brent, Physical Therapist in Spring Hills, KS; Erin, Wildlife Biologist/Zookeeper in Oakland, CA. Brent is married to Monica, an elementary teacher in the Shawnee Mission School District and they have blessed us with three beautiful granddaughters. Jane taught HS students for 42 years all about business and finance. We are both retired, enjoy being grandparents, and like to travel as much as possible. Life is good. |
