Bio

 I think it is hard to put 40 years into a few sentences. So much has happened in what feels like a short amount of time. I have spent all of my career life in nursing or teaching, and even my teaching was in medicine. I left Nebraska in 1990 and moved to Kansas City. I loved it there. I met Ron Barnes while I was working in Kansas City. Our marriage has his, hers and our children. Dixon is our youngest and will graduate in 2011 from Rock Bridge High School in Columbia, MO. He will then attend Stetson University in Florida.Since Ron retired last year we have been very busy traveling. This spring we were in Europe for the 5th time. Ron loves to travel and my schedule of work at Stephens College allows us to have ample time for it.We have a second home in Naples, Florida, so that is where we will be a few days before the reunion. We live on a golf course called the Glades Country Club (you can google it to see if you want to visit). We are busy this time checking out the Daytona Beach area on the Atlantic side since this is close to the college Dixon will attend.I look forward to seeing everyone at the reunion....it will be a great time to catch up.
