After spending over 46 years in the classroom I retired from the University of Kansas Visual Art Department at the end of 2018 as an Emeritus Professor of Art and a Kemper Fellow. I continue to work in my home and studio in historic Vinland, Kansas with an art focus on my drawing practice and occasionally on sculptural work. Retirement has also provided focused time to dedicate to the preservation and restoration of my native stone home and a continued pursuit of my boyhood hobby of vintage hot rod building. |
