I enlisted in the US Army afer graduation, spent two tours in VietNam as a crew chief on a helicopter. Worked for the REA out of Holdrege for a couple of years, then went to work for the Kriz-Davis Electric Supply Co. in Grand Island. Ended up in St Joseph MO. with that same company. Married my wonderful wife in 1984, we had a son in 1986. She is a professor at NWMSU and he is in the US Marines doing his third tour overseas. (2 in Iraq and now in Afghanistan). I retired from K-D in 2001 after 28 plus years. I keep busy with some volunteer work, fishing and odd jobs. We enjoy traveling and hope to do more in a few years when the wife decides to retire. |
