Bio

 I was born in McCook, Nebraska. I was an infant when we moved to Holdrege, Nebraska. My father was from Holdrege and worked at Linder Motor Company. Kenneth and Wilma Linder (my grandparents) were Chrysler, Plymouth and GMC truck dealers. I started school in Holdrege and finished my 6th year. We moved to Joplin, Missouri where I finished my 8th year. The next move was to Decatur, (Atlanta), Georgia and went through 9th and 10th grades. Last family move was Charlotte, North Carolina. I was fortunate to meet Ned, who was attending college. Ned is my best friend and I love him dearly. We have been married over 50 years. We were in Holdrege and Kearney for ten years. The last blizzard we endured made it an easy decision to move South. We made our home in Greensboro and Charlotte, North Carolina. Then our next home was Arlington, Texas (20 years). Twenty years ago we built our home in Paradise (Cottondale), Texas. We bought a ten acre tract and love it. Our favorite "things" are gardening and traveling. I'm retired and Ned is still employed (lucky guy). We have five grandchildren. Our oldest is Jeremy, who is now a neurosurgeon and practicing in Atlanta, Georgia at Emory Hospital. Well I guess that about sums it up. I have so many wonderful memories of Holdrege and still keep in touch with several old friends there.
