Marty received his primary education at Phelps County R-6 school and then graduated from Holdrege High School at semester with the class of 1974.

On May 16, 1987 he was united in marriage to JoAnn "Jodi" Eileen Robison in Holdrege and to this union three daughters were born: Sadie, Hailey and Riley. The family made their home in Holdrege.

Marty attended the Trinity Evangelical Free Church in Holdrege. He loved farming and being outdoors. He enjoyed going to the lake, boating, hunting and spending time with his family and friends. He had a passion for people and was a mentor to many. His ability to make people laugh will be greatly missed.

Marty was preceded in death by his mother, June Damrow; brother, Dick Damrow; father-in-law, Warren Robison; and mother-in-law, LaDonna Robison.

Marty leaves to mourn his passing his wife, Jodi of Holdrege; daughters: Sadie Johnson and husband, Aaron of Lincoln, Nebraska, Hailey Damrow and Riley Damrow both of Holdrege; his father, Don Damrow of Lexington, Nebraska; brother, Dennis Damrow and his wife, Sherry of Elwood, Nebraska; sister, Linda Slothower and her husband, Gordon of Springdale, Arkansas; brothers-in-law: Gary Robison and his wife, Kathy of Bertrand, Nebraska, Ron Robison and his wife, Bretta of Alma, Nebraska, Doug Robison and his wife, Jane of Alma, and Brad Robison and his wife, Mary of Orleans, Nebraska; a special Grandma, Jane Herbster of Holdrege, and a host of relatives and friends.
