 GREENVILLE, S.C. - Orval B. Oleson, 61, of Laurens, S.C., formerly of Funk, Neb., died of cancer Saturday, Nov. 12, 2005, at St. Francis Hospital in Greenville.
Graveside services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Fridhem Lutheran Cemetery in Funk with the Rev. David Sites officiating.
Visitation will be from 1 to 9 p.m. Friday at Nelson-Bauer Funeral Home in Holdrege, Neb., with the family present from 7 to 8:30 p.m. The casket will be closed.
He was born Jan. 10, 1944, in Lincoln, Neb., to Otis and Vernie (Lind) Oleson.
On July 13, 1968, he married Virginia (Ruf) in Arkansas City, Kan.
Survivors include his wife; son, Erik of Winston Salem, N. C.; and daughter, Kari of Clinton.
