Gary and I married in December 1971--eloped over Christmas break from school. We graduated from Washington State University in June 1972, me with an MA in Speech and Gary with a (post Viet Nam) BA in Hotel and Restaurant Management.

We have two amazingly talented children: Deborah, a professional (and award winning) photographer who currently resides in San Francisco; and Jason, singer, song writer, musician, chef and now "wannabe" politician who is finished his degree in political science at the Univeristy of Hawaii this summer and is working on the election campaign for House of Representatives.

I continue to write, always a passion, and do needlework and crochet. I enjoy reading good literature and working word puzzles.
