 Cheryl and I moved back to Nebraska (Omaha) in 2000 from Silicon Valley, CA (San Jose). In 2007 I accepted early retirement from Hewlett Packard and recently obtained my NE teaching certificate (Business). Cheryl is going to be taking a full-time job with Omaha Public Schools and it looks as though they will be my employer as well. Teaching is going to be my "encore" career and probably my last gig before a "real" retirement. I retired from the U.S. Navy in 1999 after nearly 25 years of Active/Reserve Duty as a Senior Chief Hospital Corpsman (half of my naval career with the USMC and the remainder with the REAL Navy). It's hard to believe that so much time has passed by since graduation (Ain't it funny how time slips away?). I'm still as incorrigible as ever and still somewhat opinionated - if you don't want to hear don't ask. By the way, do you know that the 2nd District of Nebraska went Democrat this year (last time was in 1964)?! I've had a good run so far this life and look forward to my next incarnation as a nematode. My wish for this reunion is to reconnect with all of those who have never joined us for the Duster fun - Mike Post, Jim Denison, Bonnie Holsinger and my fellow 4th grade strike leader Margaret Havens. So that's all - I'm looking forward to seeing most of you and promise to keep most of my clothing on this year! ;>)
