Bio |
I moved to St. Louis the day after high school graduation where I lived until 1989. While in St. Louis, I attended Drury College in Springfield, MO., Washington University in St. Louis and got married to Mary, my wife of 40 years. I started with a financial subsidiary of Ford Motor Company in 1967 and after surviving mergers and aquistions, managed to draw paychecks from four different companies without changing jobs. A company restructuing took us to Overland Park, Kansas in 1989 where we lived for eleven years. While in Overland Park, we built a new lakefront home on the Lake of the Ozarks, a 54,000 acre impoundment in central Missouri with over 1,150 miles of shoreline. What was to be a second home turned into a full time residence in 2000 when the company chose to close all of its regional offices. I retired in June of 2000 as operations manager for the eight state midwestern region of CNH Capital. I have never gotten into golf (cow pasture pool) which is the predominant activety in the area but do actively hunt and fish. The closest I get to work these days is serving as a Commissioner on the City's Planning and Zoning Commission. |
