 Graduated from Mary Lanning Nursing school in 1945. Followed husband in the Army to Washington DC. Lived a short while in Lamont, OK.
Moved to Holdrege 1947, Worked as surgical nurse at Brewster Hospital for 25 years. We spent 2 years in Cozad 1953 about 18 months in North Platte. In both towns I worked as a nurse in various capacities.
We bought a car dealership in Holdrege: Black Motor Co and ran it for 50 years.
Retired (2000) from the Black Motor Co where I had worked as office manager for about 10 years after leaving the hospital.
