Lost my wife of 49 years in a hit and run accident in Florida. She was killed and I survived only minor injuries.

2001 Remarried a lady who I had known for most of her life. Her folks lived next door to us when she was born. She was and native of Holdrege and a good Swede. Her name is Jacque Johnson Hueftle Stoup. She lost her husband about the time I lost my wife and we got together. We are celebrating our 5th anniversary in two weeks and going back to our honeymoon site - Cancun, Mexico (same hotel resort). She was a surgical nurse at the Phelps Memorial Hospital for 28 years and retired when we married. Had a lot of fun at the reunion last night in Holdrege. Saw a lot of people that I did not know - they had gotten older for some reason. I love to travel and hope to keep it up for awhile.
