Thomas J. Tambling, 72 of Grand Island died Monday, April 5, 2021 at Omaha Clarkson Hospital.

A Celebration of Tom's Life will be at 4 PM Friday, April 9th in the Hall County Park. Daniel Naranjo will officiate.

All Faiths Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements. Memorials are suggested to the family for future designations.

Tom was born on April 16, 1948 in Maryville, Missouri the son of James and Ludeene (Friend) Tambling. He graduated from Holdrege High School class of 1966. He attended Nebraska Wesleyan and received an accounting degree from Lincoln School of Commerce.

He married Barb Tincher on April 19, 1969. This union was blessed with two daughters. Tom served as COO for Transcript International giving him an opportunity to travel throughout the world.

He later married Lynda Blake on August 2, 1997. Together, Tom and Lynda owned and operated Professional Hearing Aid Services in Grand Island and Kearney.

He was a member of HIS-Hearing International Specialist. Some of his enjoyments included camping, collecting cars, always looking professional and had a gift for making others feel important.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Lynda; daughters, Michelle Ehlers (Brian Everly) of Fremont, Jennifer (Matthew) Will of Lincoln; step children, Kimberley (Markus) Ohlrogge of Berlin Germany, Kerrey (Mark) Miller pf Chester, NE, Aaron (Lisa) Blake of Columbus and Allen (Jennifer) Blake of Saginaw, Michigan; 14 grandchildren and 2 great-grandsons; sister, Betty (Larry) Dotson of Fresno, CA and nephew, Nathan (Lillian) Dotson.

He is preceded in death by his parents.
